Todd J. Coulter

Todd is a performer, director, choreographer, and scholar.  His work often brings together physical theater and contemporary dance practices in conversation with gender and sexuality. He has work published in Contemporary Theatre ReviewDance ChronicleTheatre Journal, and a book from Palgrave-Macmillan. His collaborative work has been presented at Danspace Project, Space Gallery, and the Performance Garage in Philadelphia. He has taught in the northeast at Colby College, Wesleyan University, and has been a guest artist at Princeton. He is the founder and Executive Director of NOGO Arts, an organization that promotes and presents LGBTQ artists and scholars. He has also played cello with the Queer Urban Orchestra and now with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra.
